So Little Time So Much To Do

Well here again in English version ...

I've planned to contact Dr.Ir. Toto Indriyanto from Aeronautical Engineering in ITB who is mastered in navigation aid or NAVAID. But recently I cannot do so because I've been so busy with e-learning animation editing. Insya 4JJ1 next week I'll go as planned. My plan is to discuss about what I had in mind about the idea I talked about in my previous post.

Deadlines ... that's what scares everyone,

In WiNNER lab where we formulated a new concept of online subjects, deadline was also haunted all of us. Within 2 days we had to finish all subject modules whereas we had completed 4 modules out of 13 so there will be another 9 to go. We had to rush it otherwise we'll get our penalty. But one thing for sure about deadlines is ... if we are cornered by all means, brilliant and new ideas will emerge to solve the mystery. Although this is a good option for troubleshooting expertising, for most cases this isn't an appropriate approach.

I do admire Mr. Yusep's idea on how he formulated a semi-interactive online tutorial regarding e-learning concept. While he was in the US for BREW training, he was informed from ITB e-learning team to develop online tutorial students could download and learn from his lecture. So after he came back he organised WiNNERs --including me-- to do that task. Took about 3-4 weeks for us to finish 4 modules, the reason why we completed 4 modules within weeks is because online tutorial editing is new to us. We are not multimedia experts who could do such tasks just in short time, but we had to force ourself into it. So what we did were to find a good concept either manpower or workhour table, wasn't an easy job for novices.

The first meeting of e-learning concepts from all involved groups described the layout, softwares that involved, and the obstacles faced. All groups have their own ways and challenges. Surprisingly other teams were shocked when they noticed a clip of movie about our work, not meaning to be cocky but that's what we all heard. Following meetings were to discuss progresses by each teams.

In conclusion to this posting, we had so little time so much to do. But since we have already found the working pattern and tasks for each man we'll run smooth. O yes, one important issue regarding the success is a solid teamwork where each individuals know what to do and how to finish.
